As the city buzzes with global festivities, Celebration Through the Lens invites you to step off the sidelines and into your own story. This is a guided transformational photo experience designed to help you mark a moment, honor a milestone, and capture visions of celebration right here at Olvera Street, considered the birthplace of Los Angeles.
Not a selfie tour. Not a history lecture. A personal journey with your camera in a colorful setting.
What is a Transformational Photo Experience?
Working with a transformational travel experience coach, you'll move through the vibrant, mosaic-tiled corridors of Olvera Street with intention. You'll identify a personal celebration theme, such as a milestone reached, a chapter closing, or an extraordinary highlight in an ordinary moment. Then let the environment reflect it to you through every photograph taken.
The result isn't just a beautiful image. It's a document of a moment that mattered.

What's included
✦ A pre-experience intention-setting conversation with your guide
✦ A 2-hour walk through Olvera Street guided by your coach, with space to also explore on your own through your camera lens.
✦ Transformational coaching woven into the experience. You'll be given “prompts” to enrich your celebration through the lens.
✦ A fun wrap-up where we swap highlights, cheer each other on, and discover new reasons to celebrate back home.
About your guide, Myrna Gutierrez
Hi! I’m a certified life coach, Emmy Award-winning TV producer, iPhone Filmfest award-winning filmmaker, and photographer with work featured in three stock photography agencies. I’m also the author of “Reset Your Life: Celebrate from the Heart.”
I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with the Olympics and serving as a volunteer ambassador for the World Cup. These experiences deepened my love for welcoming people from around the world and creating meaningful connections and experiences.
