Join us for a peaceful and invigorating Full Moon Hike on Monday, March 2nd. Flashlight free hike, no using your phone or watches either.
With sunset at 5:53 PM and the massive, full Moon having risen earlier at 5:15 PM, our 6:30 PM start time is perfectly situated to transition from the soft glow of twilight into the deep, enchanting beauty of the night.
The Worm Moon—so named because it marks the time the ground begins to thaw and earthworms emerge—will be bright and high above the horizon, casting a spectacular, natural light over the trail, ensuring a surprisingly clear and safe walking experience.
This 90-minute guided walk offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature as the world falls silent. Walking under the brilliance of the Moon provides a fresh perspective, engaging your senses to the quiet sounds and scents of the early spring landscape.
As a special topic for the evening, we’ll discuss the dramatic "Blood Moon" total lunar eclipse that will take place just 10 hours after our hike, sharing insight on this celestial event.
