You’re invited to a week-long celebration of young children in SFThe Week of the Young Child is April 1 - 7, 2023. To celebrate, Family Resource Centers are hosting free events all over the city. During the first week of April, there will be events that celebrate your child, parenting, and all of the resources available for families in every community.
There are 26 family resource centers (FRCs) in San Francisco. Do you know the ones in your community? If you haven’t met them yet, find an event near you to go and say hello! There will be fun for the whole family, and everyone is welcome. Caregivers will be invited to learn about the resources FRCs offer, everything from guided playgroups and parent cafes to infant massage, while children can play and learn together. Each FRC is hosting a different event, so visit as many as you can all week.

What is the Week of the Young Child?
The Week of the Young Child is an annual week-long celebration of our city's youngest children, their teachers, families, and communities. Young children’s brains are developing more during the first 5 years of their life than at any other time, and this week is about getting the word out that building connections between all the pieces in a child’s life is so important.

Los invitamos a una semana de celebración de la infancia en San Francisco
La Semana del Niño Pequeño se celebrará del 1 de abril al 7 de abril de 2023. Para celebrarla, los Centros de Recursos Familiares organizan actividades gratuitas por toda la ciudad. Durante la primera semana de abril, se llevarán a cabo actividades para celebrar a su hijo, la maternidad y paternidad, y estarán disponibles todos los recursos para las familias de su comunidad.
En San Francisco, hay 26 Centros de Recursos Familiares (Family Resource Center, FRC). ¿Conoce los de su comunidad? Si aún no los conoce, busque un evento que le resulte cercano para acercarse a saludarlos. Habrá diversión para toda la familia y todo el mundo es bienvenido. Ang Linggo ng Batang Musmos ay sa Abril 1 - 7, 2023. Para magdiwang, nagho-host ang Mga Family Resource Center ng mga libreng event sa buong lungsod.
