SAVE THE DATE -- Celebrate the TaTas: Stronger Together is a day-long event on Sunday, November 2 to raise funds for breast cancer and other cancer research by honoring and empowering women through education and artistic expression.
-Beautiful TaTas is the heart and soul of Celebrate the Tatas: Stronger Together. Women ages 21-121 are invited to have their TaTas painted by female artists. The artists will paint original designs on human canvases. Models will then be photographed by female photographers. Men are also welcome to be painted and photographed.
-A speaker from Hadassah will share recent advances in cancer research and treatment at the Hadassah Medical Organization’s two hospitals in Jerusalem.
--Expert speakers from Sharsheret, the Jewish Breast & Ovarian Cancer Community, and Jscreen, a national genetic screening and counseling organization, will provide information about the services they provide. Jscreen will have a certified genetic counselor at the event. They will offer take-home testing kits for a fee. Testing may be covered by your insurance.
-Other breast and ovarian cancer resource organizations will also participate and will have volunteers available to answer questions.-
-There will be artists and other vendors supporting our vision and fundraising efforts.
