Invite your whole family to paddle in a dragon boat and learn about many Chinese traditions used to celebrate each New Year.About this Event
The event is open to everyone at no charge.
There is no age limit for boarding a BRCC dragon boat, as long as we can find a lifejacket that fits (and we have a large supply right down to toddler size).
Sample traditional New Year foods and see a lion dance.
Have fun with Chinese paper crafts and coloring, like folding paper crane and lanterns, coloring 12 Zodiac Chinese animals.
Learn about river commerce in Chinese history and culture.
