About this Event
As the end of the 15-day Chines New Year's celebration comes to a close, the Lantern Festival is the final celebration or closing ceremony. The Lantern Festival aims to promote reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness for all who participate. The lanterns symbolize people letting go of the past year and welcoming the new year with good fortune. The Lantern Festival is celebrated throughout the world, and it marks the first full moon of the new lunar year.
Join us at Refresh Studios as we celebrate the Chinese New Year, eat a delicious array of foods from Sweet Rice Cafe and make your own lantern to celebrate for the festival!
When? Sunday, February 5th from 4 - 6 PM
How Much? Cost is $40 per person

The Event Includes:
- One large white paper lantern
- Lots and lots of papers, flowers, cut outs, ribbons, tassels, beads, paint/watercolors and more to decorate with
- Plus scissors, glues and more! (no need to bring anything)
- One LED lamp to light up your lantern when your done
- A buffet of delicious and traditional Chinese dishes prepared by Sweet Rice Cafe
- One beverage of choice
- One surprise at the end of the evening!
