Celebrate Pride Month with SAG-AFTRA New England!
June is right around the corner, and the New England Local encourages you to celebrate Pride Month with your SAG-AFTRA family! Show solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community by marching in the Boston Pride for the People Parade on Saturday, June 6.
SAG-AFTRA New England is thrilled to participate in the Boston Pride for the People Parade for the third year in a row! You are invited to join the New England NextGen Committee, fellow union siblings and allies to march in the region’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration. The 1.7 mile, two-hour parade starts at 11 a.m. near the Prudential Center on Boylston Street and ends at the Boston Common for a vibrant festival featuring food trucks, live music, vendors and more. Show your pride by wearing your most colorful attire and favorite SAG-AFTRA swag! Stay tuned for more updates as the event approaches.
Due to a strict headcount by the parade organizers and a limited number of spots, members interested in marching with our contingent MUST complete the RSVP form. Further information about the event will be emailed to registrants, along with instructions on how to secure a complimentary SAG-AFTRA Pride t-shirt if you don't have one already. The parade is a rain or shine event.
When: Saturday, June 6. Expect to gather at 10 a.m. for a parade kick off around 11 a.m.
Where: Prudential Center, Boston, Massachusetts. The exact meeting point will be provided to registrants closer to the event date.
Public Transportation/Ride Sharing: Due to the volume of people expected, the Boston Pride Parade encourages using public transit, ride sharing and carpooling.

This event is only open to active SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid through April 30, 2026 or Oct. 31, 2026). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
ADA requests may be included on your RSVP form below. Please note that ADA requests must be received 72 hours before the start of the event.
