We make hand pies at Bierock every day.So it only makes sense that we celebrate Pi Day on 3.14.
That’s right, math nerds unite on Friday March 14, 2025.
Featured this particular day will be a dessert Pecan Pie bierock. Stuffed with pecan nuts and a traditional pie filling, it’s wrapped in our freshly-baked bread dough, given a crumble topping and a bourbon vanilla glaze.
As for something a little more savory, we’re offering our Cottage Pie bierock while supplies last. If you’ve heard of Shepherd’s Pie, this is similar.
But instead of lamb, our Cottage Pie bierock is stuffed with ground beef along with mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, onions and seasoning. It’s then complemented by a house-made beef gravy.
And if that isn’t enough, we’re also featuring a pie-inspired beer as well.
On tap will be Cow Pie dessert stout by Potosi Brewing Company. According to Potosi…
"Pecans, chocolate, caramel. It all comes together in this stout inspired by the world famous Cow Pie® from Baraboo Candy Company with an extra layer of roasted malt to create a smooth, creamy, delicious, chocolate stout."
It checks in at 6.0% ABV.
So join us for Pi Day at Bierock. Doors open and sales start at 3:00 p.m.
In the evening, we’ll have live music from carisa and Tzêra. Things get underway at 8:00 p.m.
Enjoy the jazz, Bossa Nova and folk influences in carisa’s music, while you’ll get a more Latin-inspired performance from Tzêra.
There is no cover charge associated with the music.
Bierock’s full food and beer menu will still be available the day of the event.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
