Dance into the New Year with our incredible live entertainment line-up at Flare Bar (R20):

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: DJ Tony Phoenix spinning feel-good beats.

6:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Good Vibes, bringing energy and rhythm to the stage.

10:00 PM - 3:00 AM: Two Many Chiefs keeping the party alive till the early hours!

SkyCity is starting the new year with a five-minute thirty-second fireworks and laser display.

Seven songs make up the ‘midnight moment’ soundtrack, created by MediaWorks to synchronise with the Vector Lights lightshow on the Auckland Harbour Bridge and SkyCity’s fireworks display from the SkyTower. Aucklanders can livestream the audio on MoreFM 91.8fm or online at vector.co.nz/lights.

Road Closures: From 23:00 – 01:00 Federal Street, Victoria Street and surrounding roads will be closed to vehicles.

Lift Closures: From 7:00pm – 12:15am all SkyCity lifts will only go as far as P1. Guests will be prompted by signs to get out of the lift at P1 walk up through to Plaza and follow directional signage to the main entrance. This will include the theatre end lifts. The same applies to exiting the building. There will be directional signage advising guests.

The SkyCity Main Site Car Park in Auckland closes from 11am on New Year's Eve to casual parking guests.

From 11am 31 December 2024 until 1am 1 January 2025, only the following guests are allowed entry into the SkyCity carpark:

• Premier Rewards card holders gold tier and above

• SkyCity Hotel, The Grand by SkyCity and Horizon by SkyCity guests with booking confirmations

• SkyCity restaurant guests with booking confirmations

Please be aware that the central city will be busy. Road closures, including Federal Street, will be in place between 11pm 31 December 2024 and 1am 1 January 2025.

Please have your Premier Rewards card ready to present to the carpark attendants upon entry. Booking confirmations must be for 31 December 2024

Hotel and dining guests

Please have your booking confirmation ready to show the carpark attendants upon entry. If dining with a group, please ensure all members of your party know this detail and can share a booking confirmation for carpark entry.
