In this special demonstration, Karina will share the recipes, traditions, and personal stories that inspired her culinary journey and the creation of her brand. Discover how she honors Hispanic heritage through food while bringing authentic flavors and meaningful traditions to the table. Through delicious dishes and engaging storytelling, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the culture, craftsmanship, and passion behind every bite, leaving inspired by the rich connections between food, family, and community.

Demonstration. You will not be cooking in this class. For ages 13 & up. Attendees not yet 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Each attendee must purchase a ticket.

ABOUT KARINA SALDIVAR AND AMOR Y PAN:

Meet Karina M. Saldivar, founder of Amor y Pan, as she brings the heart of her kitchen straight to ours. Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Karina's culinary journey is deeply rooted in family, heritage, and a love of sharing food that nourishes both body and soul. Amor y Pan began as a labor of love when Karina set out to recreate the treasured flavors of her childhood after her brother was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. Refusing to sacrifice the tastes and traditions that meant so much to her family, she embarked on a years-long mission to develop grain-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free versions of beloved Hispanic staples.

Through perseverance, creativity, and countless hours in the kitchen, Karina perfected recipes for favorites such as conchas, pan dulce, and handmade tortillas, proving that wholesome ingredients and authentic flavor can go hand in hand. Today, Amor y Pan has become a celebration of culture, wellness, and tradition, helping families enjoy cherished foods in a way that supports a variety of dietary needs. Karina's passion for preserving Hispanic culinary traditions while making them more accessible has earned her a loyal following and made Amor y Pan a beloved name among those seeking both flavor and nourishment.
