Celebrate the end of Hispanic Heritage Month with Ascender. Join us for an engaging brand-building workshop by Nayli Russo, followed by a celebratory happy hour! We’ll also announce the winners of our Ascender Mini-Grant, honoring local Latine businesses that are making an impact.

THIS SESSION WILL EXPLORE:

• Personal Branding Fundamentals – How to craft a brand that’s both authentic and powerful. We’ll cover what a strong personal brand looks like and how to position it to attract the right opportunities.
• Translating Your Brand into Visibility—We'll explore practical strategies for getting your brand seen, whether through networking, online platforms, or community engagement.
• Tackling Imposter Syndrome – How it manifests and practical ways to push through it so your brand and confidence shine.

Enjoy refreshing beverages and delectable bites while connecting with other business owners & community leaders. California Taco Shop will be serving up a taco bar, chips, salsa, churros, and Panadería Jazmin's famous Tres Leche cake will appear.

​Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans on the country's history, culture, and achievements.

Did you know? Latine-owned businesses employ around 3 million people, fueling our economy with creativity and resilience. Yet, these entrepreneurs often face barriers to accessing essential capital, receiving less than 1% of all venture funding.

Accessibility:

Ascender is ADA accessible; attendees can take the stairs or the elevator up to the third floor to Ascender's space.

Free on-site parking is available.

Bus lines: 75, 74, 82, 77, 71C, 88, 86, 89 (within 3-minute walking distance after drop-off); P1, P2, P3 within 10-minute walking distance from the bus station.
