Friends Day recognizes organizations that work in each of our hometowns to activate volunteers around beautiful community assets, which improve our quality of life and boost local businesses and commerce. On Saturday, September 7, each Mast General Store location will donate 10% of the day’s sales to benefit the efforts of its local partner. You can also round up your transaction to the next dollar Friday, Sept. 6 – Sunday, Sept. 8 to provide additional support for your Mast Store’s partnering friend group.The Greenville Mast General Store will partner with Friends of the Reedy River.
For more than 30 years, Friends of the Reedy River has provided outreach to the Greenville community and offered events to improve the health of the river and its watershed by creating pollution reporting programs, garnering crowd-sourced observations on failing streambanks, developing floodplain improvement projects, advocating for environmentally sustainable urban development, and hosting two major, volunteer-driven river clean-up initiatives each year.
