About this Event
Join Brass Butterflies as we celebrate 10 years of community and dance. Our students, instructors and special guests are thrilled to showcase their talents for you. Featuring amazing solo and group pole and burlesque performances. Witness our Kaleidoscope in flight!
This show (Friday, November 26) is our "After Dark", adults-only show. It will feature our more risqué performances. We have another show, featuring all family friendly aerial performances, including from our Cirque Kids and Youth Aerials programs, that will be appropriate for all ages of viewers. The Saturday show is unique from this After Dark show; there will only be a couple of overlap performances between the two shows. So why not make a weekend of it and see both? Buy tickets to the Saturday show here: https://BB-celebrate-2022-familyshow.eventbrite.ca
Tickets: Tickets are assigned seating. You can purchase them online through Eventbrite (credit card only) or in person, in the studio, via cash or e-transfer (no credit card or debit sales through the studio). Note that tickets purchased online through Eventbrite are subject to processing fees. Tickets purchased in studio will not have additional fees and be subject only to HST.
COVID-19 Policies: The venue we are renting, The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts (CCPA), sets the COVID-19 health and safety rules for our shows. At this time, their policy is that all audience members must wear well-fitted masks (made of tightly woven material and covering the mouth, nose and chin without gaps). This policy might change before our show dates, however Brass Butterflies has no control over this. If wearing a mask will be an issue for you, we ask that you please wait to buy tickets until you know for sure if the policy will be relaxed. We will not be issuing refunds due to changes in COVID-19 policies unless we are forced to cancel the shows. You can find the current CCPA policies on their website: https://kwsymphony.ca/conrad-centre/. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this.

FAQs:
Q: Is this show appropriate for children? Is there a minimum age to attend?
A: This show will contain burlesque and pole performances of a more mature and sensual nature, therefore we are recommending 18+ to attend this performance. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parental discretion should be exercised. If you would like to see a show that is appropriate for the whole family, consider buying tickets to our Saturday show instead: https://BB-celebrate-2022-familyshow.eventbrite.ca
Q: Is there wheelchair accessible seating?
A: Please contact the studio if you require wheelchair accessible seating BEFORE purchasing your tickets.
Q: Do I have to bring a printed ticket?
A: You may bring your ticket on a phone or other device or a printed copy.
Q: Can I take photos/videos?
A: For the safety of the performers and enjoyment of the rest of the audience, photography and videography is not permitted. This rule will be enforced by the ushers and you may be asked to leave if you break this rule. There will be an official photographer capturing portrait style photos at the dress rehearsals in November (in studio) and a professional videographer at the shows. The performers, or their parents in the case of minors, will have the opportunity to purchase photos and videos of their performances.
Q: Will there be refreshments available?
A: A concession stand, run by the venue, will be open to purchase beverages and snacks before the show and during intermission, to be enjoyed in the lobby. Please note, the Conrad Centre does not allow food or drink inside the auditorium.
