Celebrate Arab Heritage Month with JBelly Belly Dancing

Celebrate Arab Heritage Month at Third Street Music School with a joyful, hands-on cultural experience for kids and families.
Participants will explore the beauty of Arab traditions by decorating their own colorful lanterns—symbols of light, celebration, and community—beginning at 4 PM, before stepping into the rhythm of a beginner-friendly belly dance workshop starting at 5 PM.
Led by teaching artists inspired by the work of Janelle Issis, a nationally recognized Palestinian-American performer and educator, this workshop introduces the foundations of belly dance in an inclusive, welcoming environment.

Known for her belief that “everyBODY is a bellydance body,” Issis’s approach emphasizes confidence, creativity, and joyful self-expression for all ages and abilities.
No prior dance experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move, create, and celebrate!

Ticket Policy

• RSVPs are first-come, first-served.
• RSVPs are required of all attendees, including children. An adult must accompany all children.
• An RSVP does not guarantee a seat. Free events are oversold to accommodate drops.
• Same-day walkups will be accepted. Remaining seats will be released before the show starts, as space permits.

• Large items, including strollers and carts, are not permitted in the hall but can be left in the lobby at the owner's discretion. Third Street does not assume liability for any theft or damage.
