The American Warrior Initiative (AWI) is a nonprofit, supported by Fairway Home Mortgage, dedicated to serving veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. Through education, community events, and direct support — including service dogs and financial assistance — AWI gives back to those who have served and raises awareness of the challenges they face.

About the Celebrate America Gala

Hosted at The Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI on Thursday, August 6th, the Celebrate America Gala honors 250 years of the American story, and the veterans whose service makes it possible. Presented by Fairway Home Mortgage and the American Warrior Initiative, the evening brings together community leaders, businesses, and supporters for a powerful tribute to those who serve.

The evening will feature dinner, inspiring speakers, live and silent auctions, and a chance to win a VIP meet-and-greet experience with Brett Favre. Every ticket directly supports AWI's mission — with proceeds funding 25 fully trained service dogs for deserving veterans, providing companionship, independence, and a renewed sense of hope.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We are seeking business partners to help make this evening possible. Sponsorship packages include reserved tables for 10 guests, brand recognition, and promotional visibility.

Live & Silent Auction Donations

Both our silent and live auctions will be a meaningful part of the evening — for the visibility they bring contributors, and the funds they raise for our veterans. Contributions of any size make a real difference. Examples include but are not limited to: gift cards, branded products, services, travel packages, or signed memorabilia. Auction donations are requested by July 17th.

On-site accommodations are available at The Edgewater Hotel, with additional hotels throughout Madison.
