Join us in celebrating July 4th like it was done in the old west! Our museum grounds and historic buildings will be festooned with patriotic flags and bunting as the townspeople gather to celebrate America. Entertainment will included performances by Daisy Longstem’s Saloon Girls, mini melodramas skits by the Empire House Players and old-time medicine show. The Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Clube will play exhibition matches according to the rules of the era. From temperance marches to gunfights, guests will experience many different elements of 1870s Wichita including games, wagon rides, and other performances.
Old Cowtown Museum is the place to be on July 4th as the nation celebrates the 250th anniversary this year!
