Cedar Rapids Bourbon & Bowties

Sip, savor, and connect at an unforgettable evening with Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) at the new Mercury Diner & Drinks. Join Cedar Rapids’ young emerging professionals and community leaders for a night of bourbon, wine, and cocktail tastings—all while raising awareness and critical funds to advance Type 1 Diabetes research and move us closer to a cure.

This bowtie/bow optional (yes—there will be prizes for the best looks!), business casual event features a souvenir tasting glass, curated bourbon, cocktail, and craft beer samples from distillers and brewers, delicious appetizers, and LIVE music by Jonah Seymour. Enjoy exclusive access to the venue, a cash bar, small silent auction and the perfect opportunity to mix, mingle, and build meaningful connections with professionals from the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City communities—all for a powerful cause.
