A Profile Concert of Music by Juraj Kojš

Many know Juraj Kojš for his experimental and interdisciplinary work. Fewer may know his roots in conservatory‑trained classical piano and his long‑standing engagement with neo‑romantic and post‑minimalist composition.

Ceaseless Beauty brings these worlds together in a program of lyrical, expansive works inspired by the landscape and cultural memory of Slovakia. Written for piano, strings, and piano quartet, the music unfolds with intensity, clarity, and emotional directness.

This profile concert features:

• Scott Flavin, violin
• Jody Levitz, viola
• Ross Harbaugh, cello
• Jacob Mason, piano

The program includes selections from the album Ceaseless Beauty, as well as the premiere of a new piano quartet, Stretto.

The music will be accompanied by video works by the extraordinary Dimitry Saïd Chamy, drawing on images and footage of Slovakia by Mariana Kojšová.
