About this Event
CE Seminar: Reducing barriers to treating Opioid Use Disorder
Medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) is gold standard treatment, yet only a fraction of Americans who need this treatment receive it. Many myths and inaccuracies among patients and providers surrounding this approach overshadow the evidence of MOUD’s benefits.
Led by Matthew Boyer, MD, FASAM, and Page Feller, MA, NCSE, ICS, LPC, MAC, SAC, this day-long seminar will cover the essential features of low-threshold medications for opioid use disorder and how motivational interviewing strategies can complement MOUD to improve treatment adherence and reduce relapse. This inperson seminar offers clinicians the opportunity to earn 5.0 CE credits. The cost is $30 which includes a light breakfast and lunch. Registration is required.
