Chester County Youth Theater is excited to present Disney’s Newsies JR., a 60-minute adaptation of the 2012 Broadway musical, based on the 1992 film.Shows are Friday, January 31 at 7 PM and Saturday, February 1 at 4 PM at Williams Auditorium.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 AM on Friday, December 13 on WilliamsAuditorium.com (more info coming soon).
This production features a cast of over 50 young actors and actresses in 4th through 8th grades led by Director Becky Hartle, along with Lauren Malecha (music) and Abby Hysmith (choreography).

Inspired by the true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies JR. features Tony Award-winning songs.
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.
