CCWS Community Kickback 2026
About this Event
Collective of Child Welfare Survivors (CCWS) is hosting our annual community Kickback event on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and we would love for you to join us.
CCWS is a QTBIPOC survivor-led nonprofit based in Toronto. Grounded in trauma-informed practice and lived experience, we support racialized children, youth, adults, and families impacted by Ontario’s child welfare system through advocacy, peer support, youth leadership, community development, and crisis response.
This year’s Kickback marks five years of survivor-led advocacy and community building. The event will feature food, live performances, a DJ, arts and crafts, community vendors, and opportunities to learn more about CCWS. The event is family-friendly, and all are welcome.
