Topic: The Electoral College: Obsolete or Absolutely Necessary?
About the Speaker: Carole Leher is a past Vice-President and current Board Member of the Center for Critical Thinking.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Carole attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she earned a B.A. in History with a certificate to teach.
Now a full-time resident of Naples, Carole has played an active role in The Center for Critical Thinking for many years. She has presented programs on the Electoral College to a variety of audiences both at CCT and at several branches of the Collier County Public Library system. Carole currently serves as the Coordinator of the CCT Nonfiction Book Discussion Group. She also has an avid interest and expertise in astronomy from her work at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and has lectured on the James Webb Space Telescope.
Carole and her husband Robert have been important benefactors and promoters of Naples Historical Society (NHS).
