On April 29, 2024, 6:30-8:00 pm we will host a Prayer Furnace in the CCS Auditorium.The term "Furnace" comes from the understanding of God as a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29)
Our desire is to create a sacred space that is set apart for God's glorious presence, where you as children of God can pray, worship, read and meditate on the Word of God. We invite you to follow God's lead in interceding for others and issues that are on His heart.
The atmosphere of the Prayer Furnace is relaxed, so you may come and go as you please. We do ask that you maintain a reverent attitude as you enter and leave the room, and as you enjoy God's presence within.
Please keep the following in mind:
-No one will be forced to pray aloud.
-Childcare will not be provided.
-The Prayer Furnace is best suited for adults and mature children.
-Our main purpose is to pray; this is not a formal church service.
