Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 8st, 2026! The Linn County Amateur Radio Club is launching its biggest summer radiosport event: The City-Wide CCPa App Sprint.
Whether you are an elite HF contester, a portable POTA enthusiast, or a brand-new Technician with a handheld radio, this event is designed for you. We are officially launching our custom park-logging app, and we need you to help fill the logs and stress-test the system.

DON'T HAVE your LICENSE!!
TEAM UP find a local amateur that is participating and join the fun.
Ask them if you can join their group.
🕒 THE CHALLENGE:
From 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on August 1st, fire up your rigs and make as many contacts as possible. Activators drop into a city or county park, assemble a portable antennas, Hunters can operate straight from your home shack!
🏆 THE RULES:
Simplex Only: No repeaters allowed! This is a test of raw antenna performance and operating skill.
Double Points: Internal city-to-city contacts are worth DOUBLE points. Hunt for local operators!
DX Allowed: Spin the dials on HF—out-of-state and international contacts count toward your total score!
Log via CCPa: All entries must be logged through our new app to qualify for the scoreboard.
