CCMG Spring Series Class #4: Common Bugs Found in Maryland Vegetable Gardens
Curious about what's eating your vegetable plants each year? This class will help sharpen your skills to identify common pests in Maryland that attack our precious summer crops like squash/zucchini, cucumbers, melons, tomatoes, peppers, beans and corn. We'll also discuss pests that prefer cooler weather crops, so that you can eat what you grow instead of watching insects devour your labor. You will learn tools to help with identification and strategies to control them. You will have the opportunity to see many of these pests that have been preserved for a close up view in different stages of their life cycle.
