CCL Great Lakes Regional Conference: Keep On Keeping On!

Solving climate change depends on having a community of curious, informed, thoughtful, diverse and resilient advocates. This conference aims to support your continued growth in our movement with a variety of speakers, topics and opportunities to connect with fellow advocates.

What to expect:

• Keynote by Madeleine Para, CCL President Emeritus
• Sessions led by experienced CCL volunteers about chapter development, outreach, and grasstops engagement
• Wonderful guest speakers sharing their expertise on climate and health, federal funds for local climate action, and the climate and health benefits of creating tiny native forests in urban communities
• A climate art show featuring artwork created at the conference

Lodging

CCL has a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Rockford. The deadline for getting a room there for the CCL rate of $119 plus tax is September 5 at 12 noon. You may make a reservation here or call 815-398-2200 and request the Citizens' Climate Lobby room block. We will hold a reception Saturday evening at Hoffman House, which is next door to the hotel. There are many other lodging options near Rock Valley College.
