CCFD CERT Basic Training Winter 2027 Session
About this Event
CERT training educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area, and trains them in basic disaster response skills with hands-on practice. Using the training learned, CERT members can assist others following an event when professional responders are not immediately available.
“Neighbors Helping Neighbors Doing the Greatest Good for the Greatest Number!”
You will learn how to:
- Prepare for disasters & emergencies
- Assist people who are injured
- Extinguish small fires
- Conduct light search & rescue
- Identify & anticipate hazards
- Organize volunteers & work as a team

*Classes on February 2 and 4 will be held at the Millbrae Recreation Center (477 Lincoln Cir., Millbrae).
*Classes on February 9 to 23 will be held at the Millbrae Library Meeting Room (1 Library Ave., Millbrae).
*Skills Development & Application will be at the Chetcuti Community Room (511 Magnolia Ave., Millbrae).
