About this Event
This FoodWorks program includes both academic classroom work along with hands on food preparation experience in the Maryland Food Bank’s state-of-the-art Bauer Community Kitchen and UA House in Baltimore. Learn an array of cooking techniques, knife cuts, recipe conversions, commercial equipment use, and food safety and sanitation standards. Emphasis is also placed on culinary communication and job readiness skills.

• Graduate with an internationally recognized, CCBC Basic Culinary Continuing Education Certificate
• Those 18 and older are welcome to attend!

-Monday and Tuesday are online from 9:00 am-4:00 pm
-Wednesday/Thursday/Friday are in person from 8:00 am-4:00 pm
