Come beginners, experts, or anyone in between as we learn how to find great bonsai potential at a normal garden nursery. It's free for anyone to attend and you will learn tips and tricks for finding good material. You will also have the option to purchase from Oakland or bring your own plant and work on it with others knowledgeable bonsai locals around for help. After the nursery crawl, we'll gather in the Oakland education building for some hands on work on the plants-getting started on the process of bonsai creation-bring your tools.
