CBP Conference - Climate Emergency From Vision to Action

We are delighted to be hosting the annual CBP conference again after a challenging couple of years. The day will be full of inspiring content and this year’s focus is on the opportunities and challenges we face around the Climate Emergency also the current hot topics of housing, cost of living and short term let licencing.

CBP signed up to Tourism Declares ahead of Cop26, and our delivery plan includes supporting Cairngorms businesses navigate the challenges ahead.

The full line up will be announced shortly and will include a mix of speakers and interactive workshops. We will be joined by Malcolm Roughead, VisitScotland CEO on their approach to the climate emergency, International keynote speaker, award winning entrepreneur and bestselling author Gavin Oattes, an update on Heritage Horizons - Cairngorms 2030, analysis of 12 years of business barometer trends with 56 Degree Insights and a focus on the opportunities available through Green Tourism. We aim to provide the inspiration and tools you need.

There will be sessions on funding opportunities and member benefits and a workshop from conference partners Ledingham Chalmers on a sustainable future for tourism and land-based businesses focusing on key legal and operational issues and how to tackle them. We will also discuss the importance of provenance and creating food specialties with a panel of local food pioneers who have a focus on sustainability.

New for 2022 - we know networking is important to you, so have added a networking breakfast this year, from 9am enjoy a breakfast roll and make connections at the Trade and Supplier stands ahead of the main event.
