Preliminary Week 1: Friday Sept. 16th 2022 (2 Winners chosen)
Preliminary Week 2: Friday Sept. 23rd 2022 (2 Winners chosen)
Preliminary Week 3: Friday Sept. 30th 2022 (2 Winners chosen)
Final Week: Friday Oct. 7th 2022 (3 Winners Chosen for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place)
1st Place: $350 in Cash, 2nd Place: $100 in Cash & 3rd Place: $50 in Cash
Competitions Rules:
1. Heat Competition for first 3 weeks (2 chosen couples every week) = all couples freestyle at the same time to music selected by the DJ. Each heat lasts 1:00-1:30. Usually there are multiple heats to allow each couple to be seen. If a lots of couples competing, we will eliminate couples as we go.
2. Costumes allowed.
3. Tricks, lifts, dips, drops, and shines- allowing all of these
4. Same sex partnerships allowed
5. Open Dancer Status: The Open Bachata Contest is an international competition open to all persons. The competition will be in an open category. There will be no distinction by level, or any other kind of categories. Must be over 21 & over to enter.
