Australian Award-winning Director, Robert Marchand, is coming to Adelaide to present this exciting two-day workshop. Robert teaches his CBI acting method all over the country and the world to many of our recognised artists and undergraduate actors.This special CBI Process workshop is specifically designed for young people, aged 13-18 years, with serious acting ambitions!
The training will develop the actors skill, teaching them how to make their work real and more authentic by employing the CBI method to create their very own Character unique to them. Through director-led improvisations the character comes into contact with other characters in an exciting, immersive and fun process!
The focus is on easily-absorbed aspects of CBI Process, especially those that will help a young actor add character development for auditions and future conventional scripted work, stage or screen.
Improvisations are at the heart of the work; there will be exercises and important one-on-one time with the Director through the Process in addition to filming some of the work as it develops.
Ahead of the workshop, each actor will be required to do some prep work via a series of emails and (possibly) a Zoom meeting, so that they arrive ready to go!
