Experience Snarky Puppy’s thrilling blend of jazz, funk, and soul, performed by nine of Melbourne’s best and brightest musicians!Led by keyboardist Patrick Barton Grace and guitarist Simon Chidgey, CBG brings together world-class musicians to pay tribute to some of the most exciting jazz fusion of the 21st century.
Since their humble beginnings at The University of North Texas in 2004, Snarky Puppy (led by bassist and composer Michael League) have gone on to collect 5 Grammy Awards, produce many collaborations with high-profile artists, and build a global fanbase.
“The Music of Snarky Puppy” takes the audience on a journey through Snarky Puppy’s career. The show explores the band’s early recordings ("The World is Getting Smaller" and "Bring Us The Bright"), their innovative live-studio recordings ("Tell Your Friends", “GroundUP", We Like It Here”), and their return to traditional studio albums ("Culcha Vulcha").
