Cañada De San Vincente Community Hike
Come join the Ramona Trails Association for the unique opportunity to hike a 4 mile portion of the 5,014 acre Cañada de San Vincente ecological reserve. The Ramona Trails Association has been granted a Special Use Permit for this event. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with nature and see a portion of this property, (owned by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife), which is rarely open to the public.
Cañada de San Vicente is a 5,014 acre ecological reserve located in Ramona, in San Diego County. It is northwest of the Barona Indian Reservation, northeast of the San Vicente Reservoir, east of the Leuf Open Space Preserve and South of the Barnett Ranch Open Space Preserve.
Limited spaces available.
Hikers will join 10 equestrians. (All equestrian positions have been filled).
Because of insurance and Special Use Permit requirements, you must be a member of the to participate.
You can become a member of RTA by going to Membership Form | Ramona Trails Association. Membership is $25 per year, or $30 for a family membership. A membership purchased now will be effective for the remainder of 2025 and 2026.
Please arrive on time. Due to the requirements of the Special Use Permit, this is a guided hike.
