With her 30th birthday fast approaching, Cazzie David explores the existential crises of contemporary womanhood in this sharp and darkly funny essay collection from the NYT bestselling author.

In Delusions, Cazzie David offers a candid and hilarious exploration of everything from neuroses and romantic agonies to the relentless grip of social media, all through her signature voice—blunt, self-deprecating, and deeply relatable.
Beginning with her 29th birthday and ending with her 30th birthday, Cazzie reflects on the delusions that wasted her twenties and reckons with their consequences now that the specter of her thirties looms large. Touching on everything from the pressure to find the "right" partner to enduring unrequited love to navigating body dysmorphic spirals, Cazzie cuts through the noise, offering personal anecdotes, sharp cultural criticism, and witty, honest contemplations on the chaos of becoming an adult in the modern world.

Cazzie David is a 31-year-old girl (NOT woman) who has been told by up to two psychics that she has lived many lifetimes, and that only this current lifetime is that of a nepo baby (the other lifetimes were very respectable). She is the author of the New York Times bestseller No One Asked For This, is a regular contributor to Air Mail, and has written for Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle Magazine, and more. Her debut feature, I Love You Forever, which she co-wrote and directed, premiered at SXSW and is available for streaming on HBO Max.

Zosia Mamet is perhaps best known for her starring role in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning HBO series Girls. She can currently be seen starring in Peacock’s comedy series Laid and was recently seen in the ensemble Netflix series The Decameron. Mamet also garnered critical acclaim for her SAG-nominated performance in the Emmy-nominated Max series The Flight Attendant. When she isn't on screen, you can find her at the barn riding her horse, or at home with her husband and snuggling their dog.
