Event Format: Score-O lasting 90 minutes (1.5 hours). Numerous controls are placed over a large area. Use skis, snowshoes, boots, or shoes to locate as many as you desire in any order within the time limit. It is a great format for hard-core competitors who might finish in less than 90 minutes and for casual hikers who will enjoy the extra time.
Location: Cazenovia Park in Buffalo; check-in location is The Show at Shea’s Seneca, located a couple of blocks from the park at 2188 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY 14210. Limited parking is available in the Shea’s Seneca lot, located behind the building, and their overflow lot on Cazenovia Street (see The Show’s website for details); street parking is also available. Please note that muddy or wet shoes and shoes with spikes cannot be worn in the building. Shea’s Seneca on Google Maps
Time: Check-in starting at 11:15 AM; course start by noon. Participants must complete the course by 1:30 PM.
Course: Single Score-O format course with 16 controls. Map scale is 1:5,000 and in 5 colors. Note that there is a significant penalty if the course is not completed within 90 minutes.
Cost: $10 per person for non-club members, $5 for members; juniors (up to and including age 20) receive a $5 discount and children (up to age 11) may participate for free but must register and have a waiver on file

Registration: Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and will guarantee participation. Register at the "tickets" link above; the pre-registration deadline is Thursday, February 20 at 11:00 PM. Limited on-site registration will be offered, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
(Note: Each member of a group, including children 11 years and younger, must be registered and have a completed waiver. We recommend that a group leader complete the registration for all group members. Contact the event director if your group is larger than 4 people.)
Inclement Weather: While winter weather is expected, in the case of a storm resulting in driving restrictions or extreme cold, the event will be cancelled and the meet director will notify registered participants via the e-mail address provided; anyone not registered should check the club’s Facebook page for updates.
