Think you have what it takes to compete at the professional level? Register now for your chance to earn a spot in Cavalry FC’s First-Team or Cavalry FC II pre-season camp.
The Combine (formerly Open Trials) runs from January 28 - 30th, 2026 and takes place at the Macron Performance Centre, in Southeast Calgary, Alberta. All males 16+ are welcome to partake.
This intensive 2-day Combine will put your athletic and technical abilities to the test.
Our Sports Science team will assess your physical performance on the Day 1.
Testing will include:
- Jump Testing
- Speed Testing
- Agility Testing
- Endurance Testing

Day 2 will consist of 7 vs. 7 competition gives you the platform to showcase your skills directly in front of Cavalry FC’s Scouting Staff, university coaches, and League1 Alberta coaches.
Goalkeepers will have testing as well as an individual training session on the first day.
Top performers will receive an exclusive invite to take part in a full match on Day 3 vs the Cavalry FC Academy.
