All alumni, friends, and families are invited to join the UVA Club of Jacksonville in volunteering to clean up Emerald Trail. This is our first of two events for the 2024 Cavs Care Worldwide Service Weekend!We will work with the Sierra Club and Groundwork Jacksonville to preserve the natural beauty and health of our local environment by cleaning up and maintaining Hogans Creek. We will supply trash grabbers and bags, please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat. You are highly encouraged to bring gloves and water, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will meet at W. 6th St. and N. Jefferson St., please visit our registration page for a map of where to park. After we're through cleaning up around noon, we'll head to Strings for some social time together!
