Freshers… this is how we’re starting the year.
UKC African & Caribbean Society is back, and we’re kicking off 2026/27 with our FIRST event of the year at The Venue, CAUGHT IN 4K!
Whether you’re a fresher stepping onto campus for the first time, a returning student, or you just want to experience one of the biggest nights of Freshers Week, you don’t want to miss this.
Expect a packed-out night of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Bashment and more, with our DJs keeping The Venue moving from start to finish 🎶

If you have not yet collected your physical student ID card, we will accept proof of your student login/email as a form of student ID for Freshers events. From 5th October, you must have your physical student ID card to gain entry to student nights at The Venue.
