Giddy up! Grab your cowboy hat and stick horse because Parker Parks and Recreation’s Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek with RNK Running & Walking is going to make ya’ll shout YEEHAW as we celebrate the beginning of summer and Parker’s rich rural history on Saturday, June 19 at Tallman Meadow Park, 12335 Canterberry Parkway in Parker. Part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, this unique themed 5K run/walk is professionally timed and western costumes are encouraged! The Family Fun Trek option is about 1 mile of laid-back, outdoorsy fun, which includes a "duck hunt" for the kids. Registered 5K participants receive a commemorative trucker hat and all registrations include pancakes from Flippin’ Flapjacks and a souvenir bib number.
We also have a Virtual 5K option! Experience all the benefits of a 5K run/walk on your own time, at your own location. Registrants receive the commemorative trucker hat and custom event bib.
