The Galveston Humane Society’s (GIHS) 25th Annual Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Mardi Gras parade will host the 9th Annual “A Cat’s Eye View” parade viewing party on the balcony of Trolley Station Building. This party gives you prime viewing of three family fun parades: The Shriners Hospital for Children & Sunshine Kids Parade, our Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Parade and the Children’s Parade. Light appetizers, 1 free drink ticket, a cash bar and music
Puts you in the center of the Mardi Gras action
Kids activities including face painting and kids art area
Allows you to view all 3 Sunday parades
A Cat’s Eye View of the fabulous Barkus & Meoux parade featuring area pets, many in their Mardi Gras attire!
DJ providing entertainment
Photobooth to capture the action
The Parade and Viewing Party are not only fun, but also raise money for our community support programs, including Spay/Neuter Assistance and Vaccination and Microchip clinics. *We are sorry, NO pets are allowed at the Balcony Party or in the Trolley Station Building.
*Children 5 and under may enter the balcony party for free
