You are invited not just to witness, but to help build.
Join fire survivor and artist Cathy Salser in Scaffolding the Phoenix, a journey-in-progress exploring how art becomes a living structure for recovery.
The fire burned away everything physical. What emerged is distilled, clarified, and still unfolding. These pieces are portals. Windows of time and connection. They hold the scaffolding: the invisible architecture of moments, conversations, and people who show up for each other.
Each visit, each conversation, each act of witness is part of the scaffolding. Come be part of it.
My medium is time and connection. Come experience what that looks like.
WHAT'S HAPPENING:
Opening Reception — Sunday, June 28 · 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Come experience the work. Take pieces off the wall. Read the words. Feel what's underneath.
Firestone Pendants Workshop — Saturday, July 12 · 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Create and carry your own touchstone. This is a deep dive for people ready to do real work. RSVP at cathysalser.com
Artist Talk — Tuesday, July 14 · 6:00 – 7:00 pm (Zoom)
