About this Event
In the sacred space of Saint Mark’s Cathedral, this spiritual practice is designed to improve health, release tension, and deepen spirituality. It is a gentle, restorative, and contemplative practice, and the instructors guide the group in ways that welcome newcomer and experienced practitioners alike. Pay what you can.
Advance registration is NOT REQUIRED. Simply show up! Parking is available in the cathedral lot.
Please note that class is CANCELLED on APRIL 3, 2023 (Monday in Holy Week). On the first Monday of most months, an "Organ Meditation" (30 minutes of drones and improvisations on the cathedral landmark pipe organ) is offered before class from 6 to 6:30 p.m. On the third Monday of each month, a sound bath/aural meditation experience is offered by a variety of guest artists after class, 7:30 to 8 p.m.
We request that you bring your own mat, but if you do not have one, we can provide a mat for you.
At this time, masks are optional inside the cathedral building. The space is large enough that you will probably be able to remain distanced from others, and paper signs are provide to help keep distance around you if desired. Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory infection!
