Wowee zowee are we psyched to announce Cate Le Bon at Meow Nui on Saturday 6th June as the kick-off show for Lōemis Festival!
Cate Le Bon is a sonic innovator. Her genre-defying songwriting takes the listener along a breathtaking ride so unique that artists as varied as Wilco, Dry Cleaning, Devendra Banhart and St Vincent have called on her producing skills for the je ne sais quoi that only Cate can deliver.
Her seventh album, Michelangelo Dying, has been described as "opaquely alluring and genuinely moving," by Rolling Stone; The New Yorker says, "It’s hard not to compare her to iconoclasts who seem like aliens, such as David Bowie or Björk." Batting the kudos home, it's not a shock that a multitude of international heavyweight publications included the album in their "Best of 2025".
