Kallsup (SE):
Kallsup was born out of a dream of roaring guitars in a student apartment in Örebro 2021. Today, Kallsup is a sprawling six-piece band with roots along the entire E18, convinced that the only way to pass the time is to create distant reverb-drenched walls of sound. With honest observations rooted in a melancholic existence, the band has established itself as one of the country's most exciting newcomers to the Shoegaze scene.
Their debut single Sol&Våraren was followed up by their self-titled EP in November 2023. During the last year Kallsup has cemented themselves as one of the best new live acts in Örebro, and possibly central Sweden. Their debut album is dropping in early 2025 and so is Kallsups first ever out-of-Sweden tour.
Catch the Breeze:
Catch the Breeze er pionerer for Nordisk Shoegaze og Dreampop med fokus på det sfæriske og billedskabende. Forestil dig Warpaints rytmesektion, Slowdives guitarlyd, dyb baryton vokal og du har et billede af CTB lydunivers. Gaffa skriver "håbet er et gennemgående tema på albummet, hvor det ligger bag mørket som Henrik Nordbrandts digte, hvor tristesse bliver spejlet i melankoliens skønhed og håb”
Albummet ”Hope has a Place” udkom 13. september 2024 og er det tredje album fra Catch the Breeze og bandet lyder mere frit og fokuseret end nogensinde.
