The show begins at 7:30 pm, but doors open at 7:00 so don't be afraid to get there early for the best seats.
Our lovely hosts have a partial bar with bottled and canned refreshments, as well as a handful of snack options available for purchase.
Biographies:
Mike Devenney
Mike was a teacher for over 30 years, covering middle school, high school, college and adult education. Storytelling was the center of his teaching philosophy, gently encouraging listeners to make positive changes in the lives around them.
Steven Henegar:
Mid-westerner Steven Henegar celebrates the wonderful variety of stories we use to share our lives. He calls up the everyday and the fantastic to discover feelings and experiences that connect us all. The twenty-five year veteran performer and workshop leader blends the easy conversation of his family’s storytelling with incisive imagery and word play shaped by a decade in the theater. Truth & Lies mined from a long life looking around.
Kriya Kaping
Kriya Kaping is a storyteller, multimedia creative director, and educator. She has worked regionally and internationally creating trainings and adult education initiatives, webinars, workshops, panels, and roundtables. She is a seasoned storyteller and facilitator who has collaborated on workshops for NW Creative & Expressive Arts Institute, Momentum: Conscious Movement, Drama Therapy Program, Antioch University in Seattle, and performed on stage with Portland Storytellers' Guild, Portland Story Theater, Story District (Speakeasy DC), and Living Stages.
