Vancouver's newest and stunning music venue "OSITO" is bringing you three amazing artists in one night:
Cat Madden "is like an opera singer mixed with a Husqvarna chainsaw..." said a dude from the gas station one time... but he's not wrong.
Cat also writes songs that beautifully interlace the lines between rock and soul; offering a refreshingly genuine, emotionally powerful and a little-bit-silly-sometimes show... performed by the most jaw-droppingly talented band in Vancouver.
She says "Laura Marling awoke me to poeticism and the ability to story-tell through song. I aspire to create heartfelt, big-band sounds like that of Tedeschi Trucks Band or Little Feat. Bonnie Raitt and Norah Jones inspire me to be a strong and authentic female presence in the music industry. I work my voice daily to reach the sounds of soul-legends like Otis Redding or Aretha Franklin. I'd love to compose like Jeff Buckley or Elton John and blend that with the hard hitting orchestral rock of Radiohead"
Cat is booking shows fleetingly as she puts work into recording and releases for the rest of the year so you likely won't get another chance to see her perform original music until 2025.

The Lunchtime Band is forging new tunes in the fires of experimental songwriting. Lunchtime has a seemingly inexhaustible stream of unique and exciting music. With very few songs sounding alike, this group can fit any slot, at any spot, and be warmly received. Lunchtime consists of Luc Torreggiani, Ruedi Mani, Michael Read, Derya Whaley-Kalaora, and Dawson Treadgold, a talented group of musicians from diverse backgrounds. With roots in rock and influences of prog, metal, punk, jazz, and pop, we bring a dynamic performance that will have you swaying, dancing, and moshing all at once.
