About this Event

• Children aged 11–15 must be accompanied by an adult and cannot attend on their own.
• One accompanying adult may supervise up to three children aged 11–15.
• As everyone participates in the workshop, every attendee requires a ticket, including accompanying adults.
• Anyone aged 16 or over may attend independently and does not require an accompanying adult.

About the workshop:

Join us for a cosy and creative art workshop inspired by the rescue cats who now call Purrfect Space home after journeys from the streets of Istanbul and a variety of other backgrounds.

Guided by Leila, you’ll learn simple techniques for sketching and illustrating cats, with a focus on capturing their unique expressions, posture, and personality.

Spend a relaxed and heartwarming afternoon surrounded by creativity, storytelling, and feline companionship as you bring these remarkable rescue cats to life on paper.

House Rules

Our rescue cats live at Purrfect Space, so this workshop takes place in their home. During the session, the cats may quietly wander around, rest nearby, or watch the activities from a distance.

To keep both the children and our cats safe and happy, we kindly ask all parents or guardians to read these rules with their child before attending and make sure they understand them.

During the workshop, children must:

• Sanitise or wash their hands before meeting the cats.
• Listen to the instructor at all times.
• Use quiet voices and gentle movements around the cats.
• Never share food or drinks with the cats.
• Do not pick up, chase, grab, or disturb the cats.
• Never force a cat to be stroked or touched.
• If a cat chooses to come over to you, you may gently stroke them only if they seem happy and comfortable.
• If you're unsure about anything, simply ask your instructor for help.

Our rescue cats' welfare is our highest priority. If a child repeatedly or seriously breaks these rules, we may ask them to leave the session and they may not be able to attend future Cat Club workshops.
