Cat Art Show Week at Cakeland

? As a partner of the 2021 Cat Art Show in L.A.'s Chinatown, Cakeland is offering admission tickets at a special discounted rate of $10 for general admission, which is 50% off the regular price from Thursday, October 14 to Sunday, October 24, 2021.

? Those coming in costume will receive a small gift from the Beauty War merch shop.

? *A separate ticket is required to gain entrance to the Cat Art Show, which will be next door at The Golden Pagoda (formerly Hop Louie.)

⏰ Cakeland Gallery Hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 12 pm to 7 pm. Special hours: Opening night of the Cat Art Show: 7 pm to 10 pm.

Vaccination Policy: Guests ages12+ must show proof of vaccination at check-in(digital or physical).

Tickets are nonrefundable. Unused tickets can be transferred or exchanged one time.

"The Beauty War" is a light-and-dark themed immersive art installation: part hall of mirrors, part dark ride, part cake infinity wonderland. This birthday celebration-friendly event has recently been featured in We Love LA, KABC-7's Localish, and KCET. Part dark ride, part hallucinatory Hall of Mirrors -- The Beauty War's contrasting labyrinth of rooms hold allegorical references to the universal archetypes we all traverse; from birth, independence, fear of the unknown, personal actualization, spiritual illumination and death.

Since its inception in 2005, Cakeland has been widely known for producing wild and delicious looking cake-themed, kaleidoscopic art experiences. Scott Hove, the artist, creator, and owner of Cakeland Gallery, has collaborated with Melanie Martinez, Banksy, and Comme Des Garçons.

They have helped inspire a generation of food-themed “immersive” experiences, “The Beauty War” is a direct challenge and intellectually responsible alternative to LA’s “pop-up” culture. We use a percentage of our income to invest in causes and organizations that support socio-economic justice, and a healthy and protected environment.

Cakeland LA is located in LA’s historic Chinatown just off of the Central Plaza, surrounded by an abundance of shops and restaurants. The surrounding area offers ample street parking and is in very close proximity to the 110 freeway and public transportation routes.
