CASUALTY CORNER !
Formed back in the mists of time in 90s Kingston upon Thames, Casualty Corner started making a blend of psychedelic, punky, reggae inspired music. With lyrics dealing with thoughts and issues of the day and on the human condition in general, and retain an intelligent pertinence today.
We played at various festivals and venues and often locally, finding friends with other local bands to form what was then to become The Kingston Sound Network ! Often organising all day events, which were brilliant gatherings of local musicians and made lasting connections.
Life happens, things change, people move apart, but the four members of Casualty Corner still reconvene to make a noise together from time to time, and are excited to return to The Lamb for a rare performance . Expect dynamics from hard space rock to deep dub, with unique vocals and the occasional soaring guitar, delivered with humble sincerity, a slightly exotic hairstyle, and a whiff of scampish humour.
Casualty Corner are :
Gavin, vocalist and poet, Nick bassist, Steven (The Glazz), on drums, and Rik (of Rubbish Rik and his amazing Rubbish), on guitar.
